Terms of Service
Effective 1 January 2026 — the terms that govern every design, engineering and construction engagement with Siddique Son's Architect.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By engaging Siddique Son's Architect ("the Company", "we") for design, engineering, construction or project management services, you ("the Client") agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them before signing a project contract; where a signed contract conflicts with this page, the signed contract prevails.
2. Services and quotations
Our services include architectural design, structural engineering, authority and society approvals, grey structure construction, turnkey construction, renovation and related project management. Quotations issued after a site visit are valid for the period stated in the quotation.
Published per-square-foot rates are indicative for standard specifications. Final pricing is always issued as an itemised Bill of Quantities (BOQ) naming materials by brand and grade, and becomes binding only once both parties sign the contract.
3. Contracts and milestone payments
Construction payments are released against verified milestones defined in the contract (for example foundation, slab, brickwork, plaster, finishing). Milestone invoices are issued after completion and site verification of the relevant stage.
We never request payment for work that has not been completed and verified. Delays caused by approvals, client-driven design changes, force majeure or site conditions beyond our control extend the schedule accordingly and may adjust cost where the change is documented in writing.
4. Warranties and guarantees
Completed works carry a 5-year warranty covering workmanship and materials supplied by us, and a 15-year structural guarantee covering the load-bearing structure, subject to the exclusions listed in your contract.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by third-party alterations, misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or components supplied and installed by others. Claims should be reported in writing as soon as they are discovered so that an inspection can be arranged.
5. Client responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate plot documents, securing their own financing, and obtaining client-side permissions where required. Approvals lodged with authorities depend on complete and truthful documentation; incorrect information can void approvals and timelines.
Design decisions, material selections and finishes must be confirmed within the agreed review windows. Changes requested after a stage has been approved may require a written variation order with associated cost and schedule impacts.
6. Drawings and intellectual property
Architectural and structural drawings remain the intellectual property of the Company and of the licensed professionals who prepared them. Drawings are licensed to the Client for the specific project for which they were produced and may not be reused, copied or modified for other projects without written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the value of the contract under which the claim arises. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or opportunity, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Parties will first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct discussion; unresolved disputes are referred to mediation before any court or arbitration proceedings are initiated.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. The version published on this page at the time of your enquiry applies, unless a signed contract references a specific version.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@siddique-sons.com or to our office address published on the contact page.
